Approximately 20 years after the events depicted in Deus Ex, The World is only beginning to recover from a Catastrophic worldwide depression. In the Chaotic period of recovery, several religious and political factions see an opportunity to re-shape a worldwide government to their agendas. Deus Ex 2 Visible Upgrade is a mod for Deus Ex: Invisible War, created by snobel. Description: The patch contains various bugfixes and game improvements such as widescreen support, and provides a.

Deus Ex, in itself was a very fun RPG and very entertaining to play. Deus Ex Human Revolution had a much more engaging story (which is saying a lot). This one however seems to be the one that falls short. The Freedom of choice is huge in this game, you can basically pick any side you want to and they'll claim to be the good guys and you follow through with your objective.

That also presents a problem, You are NEVER as engaged with the story as you ever were in the other 2. One other complaint was how they put all the ammo as one, if you use up all your ammo snipering bad guys from a distance you will have nothing left if you want to blow something up with a rocket launcher. I will cut the game some slack in saying I have NEVER played a game that is quite like this.

I can see what they were trying to do with this and it didn't work as well as it could, however I think that making a game like this should not be overlooked. It may be just me. About the game play - aside from the ammo thing it is actually pretty good (if you find the right weapon the ammo thing can be overlooked if you're quick enough).

It does get irritating but I did like it. As far as story goes - as I said it is not as engaging as the others in this series, however for a 'there is no right or wrong' I thought this did a good try for this type - however I think an idea like that should be scrapped if they can't do it right. Decent sequel - not as good as the original.

Yes it does function on a windows 10 machine, but you will encounter some ridicilously annoying problems. You will see that the resolution won't fit with most screens today, and that each and every time you load a new area (which will be quite often), the game will minimize to desktop and then load again after at least 5 seconds (depending on your computer). It is possible and quite easy though, to fix the resolution problem by changing some values in a txt. Document, just search for it on google. The loading issues can't be fixed on Windows 10 (at least I've not managed it), but will be possible on Windows 7.Hope this answers your question:).

@Marbar:Sadly there is nothing that can be done about this, as mentioned in the pcgamingwiki. With 'perfectly fine' i meant that the game works and runs without the loading hangs and performance issues others have mentioned and at native resolution.I haven't looked into that because personally i didn't mind it (it only shows for a couple of seconds on my computer), but if someone is interested in examining what the 'ion launcher' program does it could be possible to replace it with a custom one that draws a black screen or something.

The game doesn't minimize, it completely exits and then is relaunched by the 'ion launcher' to load the new area. The 'ion launcher' seems to be a small program that all it does is relaunch the game, so it shouldn't be hard to replicate its functionality with a better behaving program.Personally i might look into it at some point if i decide to play the game again in the future, but at the moment i already finished it a couple of days ago and probably wont play it again for quite some time:-P.
