I save my tabs manually every evening because they have gotten lost or corrupted on occasion. I keep 3 days of backup’s.What I would like to see is something that would warn me when I went to close a window with less tabs than any other open window.

  1. Firefox Open Last Session

Because what often happens to me is that I have a secondary window open with one tab that I forgot about. I close the main browser window and I am left with the secondary window, which will save that ONE tab and I will lose all the other open tabs. I hate when this happens!. @Valvicus:You can still open your Session Manager sessions in:. Firefox ESR (until it jumps to WebExtensions-only on 9 May 2018, or longer if you don’t upgrade).

How to Restore Previous Session (Tabs) in Firefox In this article we’ll consider how to restore the previous session with open tabs in Mozilla Firefox. Pale Moon (indefinitely). Basilisk (indefinitely, but Basilisk is in beta). Waterfox (not personally tested, but probably, until it dumps XUL/XPCOM extensions)I use a shared (common) sessions folder for the first three browsers and will use the same folder for Waterfox as well, when I get around to loading it with extensions and configuring it. Similar to several other extensions (like Tab Mix Plus, NoScript, and uBlock Origin), being able to export and import Session Manager settings from the extension’s “Options” comes in handy when you’re setting up a new compatible (pre-Quantum Firefox-family) browser. @Valvicus: I feel your pain. Session Manager is no longer optional for me.

I’ve been using it for practically its entire life. The author of Session Manager says that some of the API’s he depends on will have no equivalent in the new WebExtensions and he will not be attempting a port. It is Session Manager alone that will pin me forever to a version like Waterfox which ain’t gonna go there and remove the old API.I believe, but am not sure, that a site is being created to hold all of the pre-WebExtensions add-ons and present an interface similar to Mozilla’s current one. At some point those old add-ons will no longer be available via Firefox. “Session Boss lists internal pages like about:addons but it cannot restore them. You may copy and paste the URLs to restore them as Session Boss keeps track of those.”Where can one find this list? I have two frozen.private windows (can’t even navigate the tabs) and I’m trying to find a way to save the internal tab pages, not just the current url.

It doesn’t matter if they can’t be automatically restored. No extension I found for Firefox Quantum seems to be able to do that.Any help would be greatly appreciated!.
