I am pleased to offer this 1937 Dobro M15 resonator guitar. Very nice vintage condition with beautiful scroll work.
Serial # M1015. Comes with a very nice Taylor hard case.Details:No.15 or M-15 “Professional Model”. Also known as the M-15, 15M (Spanish), M-15H, P-15 (Hawaiian).Nickel plated German silver body with small engraved “Dobro” crest on back and engraving on sides, dot fingerboard inlays, bound rosewood fingerboard, mahogany neck, round window sound holes, peg head with pearl “Dobro” crest. Retail price of $95, available 1935 to 1940. A nice attractive model, looks great and sounds better than its brass bodied M-14 cousin. Cheers guys.Neal, I did ask them when they mentioned it to me - and they replied saying 'it's just on it's way out'. I thought I'd just hold off until Tuesday to get a second opinion, but am thinking I'm probably going to have to get it replaced sooner rather than later.I've got the receipt in the car of what they actually replaced - from memory it was a couple of pipes/hoses. I got the low coolant warning on the way to work in the morning, topped up with some water to get home (10 mile drive) and by the time I got home the coolant had gone and engine was steaming a tiny bit - when I popped the hood I noticed a leak from the two pipes which connect to the radiator at the front of the engine, and one more as I looked down towards the bottom of the engine.
