How do you buy houses on the game Oblivion? First, go to the count of the city you want to buy a house in, then make him like you (if needed) and talk to him about Buying a House. Spoilers ahead: You get a house in Skingrad for free after completing a Dark Brotherhood quest. The house in Skingrad has three levels, three bedrooms, and plenty of room for loot. Personally my favorite house, a honorably mention goes to Anvil for being the best house for the money.
Somebody should make a mod that would allow you to throw house parties! You know, something to up your speechcraft or whatever.Think of it, you'd put up flyers in the various inns and taverns advertising your gig, you'd go buy food and supplies at the general store (poison apples??), and if you're throwing the party at your house in Skingard, you could dress up your maid in skimpy clothes or something and she could serve cheese and crackers.And if your party gets too rowdy, the Imperial Guard will come by and tell yuo to turn it down.I'm feeling a bit left out ever since I had to crash that Countess' dinner party. Click to expand.The gear gets better as you go up in lvls. At 34 almost all the drops are glass, daedric and some mithril. I keep anything that sells for over 1200 a pop.
I have 160 str and can carry 849lbs of stuff so I just pick a random fort and go spelunking! Clear the dungeon out usually takes two halls with my spells etc I carry nearly 1100 lbs and those two trips sell for about 50k. Thus it takes no time at all to come up with some serious cash! Plus I didn't speed through the main quest. I'm taking my time, all my skills are just about maxed.
Oblivion All Houses
I'm at lvl 34 or 35 and have just a few more primary skills to max out. I also own all 8 houses and a black horse, all in all, I think those all combined with furniture ran me about 200k.Only thing I'm really craving at this point is the necklace of Swords. I have the Chorrol shield which is 33% reflect dmg and add that to the necklace = I'll only take 1/3 the dmg. With that item I'm sure I can take out the imperial gaurd and anything else in the game.
Age of mythology initialization failed error. At that point I will need to jack up the difficulty.
